Anyone have hi-res pic of bridge?

The reason I think they're torps/missiles and not fighters is: they have a smoke trail, and they are all flying in a straight line directly at the ship. And some are really close, like the ones near the saucer's edge.

It's possible, but they have too much design to them.
There's a hull there and it's emiting light from an engine.
I still say Fighters.

Maybe the bigger ones, like the thing on the right, is a fighter, and some of the tiny ones are missiles?

I suppose the really tiny ones could actually be unmanned fighters rather than torps.

Shots from the Fighters?

Don't know if it's been pointed out but even though Kirk is in black there is still a delta sheild on it.

There seems to be at least two ranks seen in the bridge picture. McCoy has two stripes: one thick and one thin. Sulu has one thick stripe.

I'm sure someone must have noted this elsewhere, but what the heck.

^ I'm guessing one full strip signifies a full Lieutenant, and one and a half stripes means Lieutenant Commander. Probably half a bar for Lieutenant JG. Does that mean they're sticking with no insignia for Ensign? I always thought that was odd. Same with no differentiation in uniform between officers and enlisted (who don't seem to have had rank insignia either).

In that crew shot - is that the bridge off to the left of them? meaning this is some form of ready room?

The general impression seems to be that it's looking across the bridge, with the main viewer in the background behind them. Viewpoint may be at or near the science station seen behind the seated Kirk in another shot.

Yeah, but it sure looks like there's another room off to the left side of the main viewer. Maybe it's just a reflection, but it even looks like there's a different display shown.

It's tough to make out just what that is; you can't see enough of it in the pic. Same as with trying to decide whether or not the viewscreen is free-standing, it's hard to get a good sense of depth on the background detail.

Edit:

ancient has some ideas here, though.
