Anyone getting the Season 5 DVDs?

My son bought me season 5 as a Christmas present.

Got the DVDs from my sister for Christmas; I'll start a rewatch once we're a little closer to February 2nd, otherwise I'll just get my hopes up for the new season way too early.

I just bought it at Costco here in Taiwan.

There's an extremely well done bonus feature called Mysteries of the Universe that is done like that old Nimoy show about the paranormal, they even make it look like it's from a beat up old video tape recorded from ABC in the 80s.
There's even a couple of seconds of a promo card for Matt Houston!

I watched Season 5 on Instant Netflix when it came out. I will buy the DVDs eventually, but I'm not in a rush. I probably won't need to do it until right before the Season 6 DVDs come out so that I can have a marathon.

Yes! That was very clever, very well done, I thought. I also liked the day on the set with "Richard," and how he was dead-set on proving that, no, he was not wearing eyeliner.

I'm going to get the complete series Blu-ray box set in August that supposedly comes with a Blu exclusive disc. Wonder what the packaging will be like.

Yeah, that was amusing. Apparently, they now give him makeup to make it look less like eyeliner.

I don't know, but they could theoretically put the whole series in tiny packaging. This is what I'm waiting for too, because it will be worth the wait to have everything in Blu and in consistent packaging.
