Yes. I'm sick of Miley Cyrus as well. I recently saw her "Wrecking Ball" video and I have to say that even though I liked the song, I hated the video! I mean it's her tonguing a barbell and naked on a big wreckball! It's ludicrous if you ask me. She's just gone to hell and a handbasket!

Again, her mistakes are not mistakes. Her mistakes are intentional publicity stunts. Controversy is how you sell records to Miley's target demographic.

It's supposed to be an affectation she uses when people take pictures of her. She said she wasn't comfortable with being photographed, and she uses it as a defense mechanism to assuage the discomfort.

That's not really a fair assessment of her demographic, and no, they're not brain dead. People like her music, her cult of personality, but there are so many artists out there that some of them feel they have to step it up to get noticed. Quite frankly, I don't find anything she is doing as "shocking." Provocative? Certainly, but not shocking. Then again, she is an adult who can make her own decisions.
What's silly is the negativity she gets from many of the same people who go and look at porn in magazines and on the internet. The same pop media that waggles their collective finger at her will also spread gossip about every other celebrity? It's hypocritical.
I have to admit, after having heard "Wrecking Ball" I have a... somewhat better appreciation for her talent. Still no interest in seeing the video and don't think she's a great singer... but I'd actually heard the song several times for a month or two before realizing that's who sang it. A very solid pop song.
Someone may have already made this joke, but I'm less sick of Miley Cyrus than I am of people complaining about her.
I definitely agree that Miley is no better or worse than any of the other pop stars out there right now.
In porn the women actually have boobs and asses, making them much more interesting and entertaiing than Miley Cyrus will ever be.

Then perhaps it's best if you stop watching her. It might give the impression you're interested in 20 year old sluts with the sound turned off.
She was "singing" in the MTV whatver... so I guess I've heard her talent. I'm not impressed.

To be fair, she does have some honest, good, singing talent.
Just saw "Wrecking Ball" and I liked it. It was better than what I saw of her MTV performance. I also see that the video has almost 300 million hits.
