I find it fascinating to watch how SOMEONE "in authority" (either Abrams or the PPC legal team) is restricting any information about how this film "really" went down.The JJverse doesn't seem to want people examining itself too closely... both the pages at TrekMovie and Ryan Church's web site have been taken down.It's not working for me now too!?!?!?!it was working before when I put it up! what's the deal?
Maybe Church's original Enterprise was too beautiful and it was making the one that made it to film look bad.
At any rate, someone seems to have gotten upset at too much information being released.
It's odd. I mean, I can see keeping a lid on things before the movie comes out. But restricting stuff that can serve no purpose >I< can see other than to keep interest high?
It's either deeply misguided "if we let it on the 'net it'll hurt future product sales" thinking (which PPC found out was totally wrong back in the late 80s and early 90s... I find it hard to believe that they'd change course again now!) or it's an EGO thing with... ahem... someone who doesn't like his decisions being "challenged" (even if that's not really what's happening).
