I loved the original and feel it is one of the greatest sci fi movies ever made. The lack of acting ability of the remake's star has me thinking I'll wait till it hits cable.

Wolverine trailer will be with The Day The Earth Stood Still, and possibly the Terminator Salvation trailer, and not sure about the Transformers 2 - Revenge Of The Fallen trailer

Why all the hate for Keanu? Obviously, he's not the greatest actor in the world, but I don't think he outright sucks (and I happened to like Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure! Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey on the other hand... )

He's had his moments in some movies, but mostly he's... anemic. I don't dislike him, because he's like so much saran wrap, so almost not there it's hard to have an opinion about him at all.

Jennifer Connelly strikes me the same way, and the trailers haven't been particularly interesting. I'm usually up to see a remake just for the interest of how the creators have transformed a story, but this one is drawing an apathetic 'meh' so far.

I saw some of the original and loved its 50s style. Don't know whether to be that enthused about the remake.
