What's your fav season?
Season 2 of Buffy got me into the show, so I guess I'll always have a soft spot for it, but I generally liked them all. Wasn't too fond of Season 7 upon its first showing though. I thought the main storyarc dominated proceedings to the point that there was no time for anything else. My opinion on this softened on subsequent viewings, and I liked the way the series handled the Buffy/Spike dynamic, which was A LOT less stuffy than the Buffy/Angel love story.
A lot of people seem to dislike Season 6. I never got it. It's kinda like the way some people hated DS9 because it was so dark and showed a more negative side to the Trek universe. Season 6 of Buffy was like that, so I guess it just turned some people off. In spite of its darkness, though, I though the season was full of some of the best humour.
Angel is my favorite show of all time. S4 is my favorite season, but I love them all, incl. S5.
Buffy S3 is my favorite. S7 is my least favorite. S5 and S6 were experimental and not liked on airing but I think they hold up on DVD.

Yep, well, except for maybe Buffy seasons 6 and 7...
Buffy was great. It's on my list to one day be picked up on DVD.

Yes, both shows are excellent and worth watching, but Whedon lost me on the comics continuation when Buffy gets a girlfriend.
Yes. I do. I think either Season 2 or Season 3 of Buffy was my favorite. I bitterly resisted Angel when it first came out because I was never a fan of the character as much, but my wife is slowly dragging me through the Angel box set and I am not hating it too much.

And I thought season 6 was bad...

Um, actually she does in comic #12.
Semantics. Buffy hooked up with her which was completely out of character. This thread should be in Sci Fi and Fantasy!
