Starting this fall, Hubby and I hope to start getting rid of some of our Disney stuff. Most is not really worth enough to sell online, but to someone who really likes it, we'd consider "donating" to a worthy new home.

So, if anybody here is interested in such stuff, let me know what you like (e.g., specific character or movie, or type of item--paper goods, happy meal toys, etc).

Or pm me. I'll keep a list and let you know if we come across anything on you might like. All our stuff is in plastic bins in a dry basement, taken care of.

ETA: I did see a Disney publication we had, something about one of the parks, for sale on ebay. I thoughtours was worthless, but it sold for $15! Some people collect publications and such, so we have a big variety.
Please remember that this isn't happening until this fall. We'd rather send things to a good home, to someone who'd appreciate them.

My big sister used to collect tons of Disney-related stuff, mostly the VHS copies of the movies, and occasional toys and bubble bath bottles. I don't know if she's still into any of that.

I also had a friend in Uni who loved anything and everything that was related to Disney's version of Winnie the Pooh. :D Mind you, I haven't seen her for years.

I love anything Disney, but I don't own a whole lot of their stuff, probably because I'm a cheapskate. If you have anything with classic Mickey on it or anything you might consider historical I would be highly interested in it. Or Little Mermaid stuff. Or the Great Mouse Detective!

I find myself slowly acquiring Disney park related books. They've proven to be fascinating for me, especially in regards to his use of railroads and other transportation devices. The things that Disney pioneered in the 50s in regards to crowd management were lightyears ahead of anyone else.

Hubby would fight you for some of the Little Mermaid stuff. His three favorite Disney characters are Jessica Rabbit, Tinker Bell, and Ariel. See the pattern? He's such a guy.

The main Great Mouse Detective thing we have is a double cell of Olivia and Watson(?)--or the equivalent of Watson. But I can keep an eye out for classic Mickey.

Can you pm me so I have down what you're interested in and won't lose it?

You too, Capt. Ice.

I collect Disney fashion dolls & figurines & some other stuff(pvcs, mugs) ... do you have any Oliver & Company stuff?

I don't think a lot of O & Co. Some pins.

I know we have some pvc stuff and mugs. Knick-knacks that kids would get. I'll let you know this fall?

I'm taking notes now on what people like.

How wonderful of you to do that. My wife and daughter adore Gus Gus from Cinderella. Must send you a PM.

Ooh, I can tell you right now. We have no Gus Gus. Maybe some stuff from Cinderella.

Remember, most of the stuff we have that we'd be getting rid of are plastic and paper--happy meal toys and things, and publications, though not likely quality books. Stuff that wouldn't likely sell on ebay, but true collectors would like to have just to add it to their collection. But they can't find it because no one sells it because it's really not worth a lot. It's neat. It's just not worth a lot monetarily.

My 300+ Pooh beanies I'm keeping. They're all in boxes--big boxes. When they were on display, I kept getting the feeling I was being watched. By hundred of little black button eyes. Creepy.

my brother and his wife went to America a while back and went to Disneyland and bought a cute fluffy toy for my daughter.

I cant remember the characters name but she was so excited to get this toy from a country so far away from ours.

But l have to say that she would never get rid of it because it was a very special gift from her uncle and auntie
