Anybody else would like a new Elite Force in the JJverse?

It could be really fun. You would probably have to include the new Kirk for marketing reason's.

I would pesonally like it if you would be part of some sort of Black ops team or Section 31. It would be fun to have a more morally grey Elite Force game.

Meh, might do alright. Can't say I'd be much interested in it. Elite Force just didn't have a Star Trek feel to me. Oh sure it was in the setting and had the appropriate characters... but it just felt like it was a makeover for any other shooter. Though I guess if any Trek is gonna pull of a random shooting game it'd be NuTrek...

Elite Force and its sequel felt as much Trek to me as "Dark Frontier" or First Contact. It certainly strays from the feel of most of TOS or TNG, but they were consistent with other Trek product of the time. And the style would certainly be at home in the Abramsverse.

...thanks, now I think I need to go replay those. (Too bad EF2 isn't consistent with the various post-Nemesis novels...)

I always thought a mod for an existing shooter to create a Dominion War campaign could have been interesting Maybe CoD style with different player characters, say Starfleet for 'generic' playstyle, Romulans for sneaky missions and Klingons for mad frenetic shoot outs and maybe some extra hand to hand.

Yeah, pretty much. For you comic book fans out there, it's Ultimate Star Trek - cleanslate in name, but they can re-do old ideas, or introduce them in new ways.

To be honest, I liked Elite Force and I did get a Star Trek vibe from it. It would be nice to see a 2013 Star Trek FPS too.

That said, I'd rather it be set in the standard Star Trek universe rather than the JJ one. I'm just not really sure I'm a fan of the JJiverse to be fair.
