To chime in on the TV show or books side discussion, I would also opt for books over TV or movies. It would be nice to have a new show with a new cast and crew along with books but if we have to have one or the other I'll take the books. My only wish would be that TOS books are limited to just a couple a year at most. There's more to explore in the 24th century in my opinion. I want more DS9, VOY, Titan, New Frontiers, Aventine etc. etc. Also as much as I like many of the current authors I would like to see some new blood in the book line. I know we have a couple of new authors but what I've seen by them thus far is not very promising. I'm hoping for more and I guess we'll see whether they can come through with top notch stories. I also would love to have KRAD back writing stories for us. His books were/are awesome! Glad to know Peter David is going to have at least one more opportunity in the Trek universe as well.
