I recall that just as the "Stone and Anvil" book/CD came out in the stores, there was a major update to the file-reading software and anyone who upgraded lost the ability to read the CD's files. Marco organised for the previous software to be available from the S&S website, and people could download that version again.
Also, the book went into immediate reprint, but only that first printing had the CD. Quite a few people reported that the only version that made it into their local shop was the second printing.
