Any point in protesting to SPIKE about the cancellation?

As mentioned in another thread, it seems SPIKE has pulled TNG from their schedule...just before the end of year six.

Anyone think it's gone for good, or that this is just a "rest"? (With it also running on G4, which I don't get, I fear it's the former.)

Anyone think there's a chance SPIKE might bring it back in a few months?

Anyone think fan protests would do any good?

It's possible that they may have lost the rights to TNG. They have been playing it the longest (5 years).

TNG airs on G4 so maybe they now have exclusive rights to TNG now.

Old shows are played then taken out then back on all the time. Why protest unless someone announced TNG will never be shown EVER again?.

I would have too, in a few weeks.

Now I'm going to have to transfer a bunch of old tapes to get season seven...and the final episode of season six.

I haven't heard anything about it. I guess their contrct is up. I'm sure TNG will find a new home quickly.
