Any new in series novels planned?

I was wondering if there are any new novels for TNG, DS9, Voyager or Enterprise which take place during the time of their initial runs? Seems like everything I see takes place after those series ended.

No, there aren't.

There have been a few published after the finales (Hollow Men for DS9, String Theory for VOY, the various anthologies), so it's not impossible we'll see some more, but it would appear that it isn't happening for the next year and a half certainly.

Isn't half of Full Circle a flashback to TV-era Voyager? I haven't read it and may be misremembering what someone said during the last great Janeway war...

If I remember right it picks up where the previous relaunch novels left off. I think there was some talk relating to that episode where they meet up with the Klingons in the Delta Quadrant, I can't be bothered to try to look up Voyager episode names, but I don't remember a flashback.

* And I knew someone was going to beat me to the answer before I finished typing. So yeah, what Christopher said too.

From what I remember it picked up from where the last post-finale novels left off and wrapped up the Miral storyline...

You didn't ask about the original series, but next August's A Choice of Catastrophes takes place during its run.

Well, that series appears to be the only exception right now. That is why I did not list it. I plan to read Inception then Unspoken Truths. I was just wondering if there was a decision to only move forward with the 24th century series.

There's no policy limiting the books to a particular category or time frame. The policy is to find good stories. It's easier to come up with strong stories in the post-finale settings because there's a broader range of possibilities and no reset button at the end, but as past examples like Hollow Men and String Theory show, there's nothing prohibiting a during-the-series novel if someone comes up with a sufficiently worthwhile idea.

What Christopher said. There's no policy, one way or another, that I know of. I have a proposal for in-series TOS novel working its way through the pipeline now . . . .

I've pitched an in-series Enterprise novel (set before the Xindi arc) as well, though I don't really expect them to choose it (if they choose any) out of the pitches I have in.

Also, Planet Of The Tribbles, if they're ever mad enough to buy it (which I can't see them ever doing, hence I'm willing to risk jinxing by naming), would be mostly set in-series in DS9 and TNG

I'd buy that in a heartbeat, just for the Tribble Statue of Liberty scene at the end.

That was what you had in mind, wasn't it?
