Any Lady Gaga fans here?

Hello! Yes, I'm sure you'll find quite a few Lady Gaga fans here, myself being one of them. :)

I don't like her music but I hate almost all modern music past the mid-90's. Back in my day we had real musicians like Rockwell and Air Supply. Young people just never learn.

I like a lot of her older songs (Just Dance, Paparazzi, Love Game, Bad Romance). I haven't really listened to anything beyond The Fame Monster.

Don't like listening to her, respect her an artist though. Very talented, and a cut above your average pop star, just not my cup of tea.

I'm a fan in the sense that I like her every time I happen to see or listen to her, but I don't casually listen to her of my own accord. I feel about Lady Gaga the way Hansel felt about Sting. "The music she's created over the years, I don't really listen to it. But the fact that she's making it, I respect that."

She is a great musician; the videos of her playing the piano before she was famous are fantastic. I like some of her songs but for me the spectacle overshadows the musician and that is sad IMO. I like listening to the music; I don't need to see a bunch of weird shit; it just distracts from the music. I think I must be officially old!! lol

To me she is basically trying to be the next Madonna but I thought the original was much better. I just don't like any of her songs were Madonna had some great pop hits. I did like Lady Gaga in "American Horror Story:Hotel" though I don't think she deserved the golden globe. especially when the actor playing Liz Taylor deserved one and didn't even get nominated if I recall.

Warning: free-association ahead:

After watching the Star Trek Continues bloopers for the latest episode, and "old Kirk's" rendition of some lines from the Queen song "Don't Stop Me Now", I had to play the song on YouTube. That caused me to listen to / watch a couple other of their videos, including "Radio Ga Ga". I never gave it any thought before, but my being late-to-the-party aside, a light bulb went off in my head, and when I looked it up out of curiosity, I confirmed that Lady Gaga indeed took her stage name from that song. I like the song, but I love the video, which borrowed heavily from Fritz Lang's 1927 masterpiece "Metropolis" (so did Star Wars, but that's another story:)).
