I'm curious about how much interest there would be for official licensed Star Trek Lego sets or collectibles. While there have been hundreds of Star Wars Lego sets and the license has been extremely successful, no Star Trek set has ever been made, despite Star Trek fans being at least as mad about collectible toys as SW fans are. Mega Bloks had the Trek license for a little while in 2004 and only ever made one set, a relatively crappy Enterprise-D.
If there's enough interest, there is a way to tell Lego that the Star Trek community wants ST Lego: Lego CUUSOO. It's a website where people can submit Lego set ideas, and the most voted for are commercialized by Lego. These can include any possible license: the Minecraft community has already successfully supported the creation of a Minecraft Lego set which will be released in March. If Minecraft can do it, Star Trek fans can have Lego sets as well!
Anyway, I'm not here to promote any specific project but if you're interested in either suggesting a ST Lego idea, or supporting existing ideas and make a Star Trek set happen (and perhaps more than one, if the first is successful) then head to http://lego.cuusoo.com/ and search for Star Trek. You should find a number of neat creations!
