Young girl, aged 6 to 9 – intelligent and appealing

Asian male, 30s – huge, tough and intimidating, comic ability

Caucasian male, 30s – over 6′, dangerous and rough, comedic

Italian-American male, 50s – scary and unusual features, deadpan humour

Russian male – 30s or 40s, wiry and smart, deadpan humour

Male, 20s or 30s – Under 5’8″, smart and funny

That's so "ist". Only the girl doesn't have to be funny, and only the girl has to appear intelligent through a telescope, as if someone can prove they are a genius or a dunce from appearance alone.

The film will be only as comedic focused as the other films in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

...Feige confirmed a while back that official casting news concerning the film would be announced by the end of the year. Pre-production on the project began in October, and if rumors are to be believed, it could be starting production around May or June of 2014.

So in just a few short weeks the leads for Ant-Man should be known to us with certainty!!


Ant-Man will be filmed in Georgia, USA taking advantage of tax breaks.

According to my close Marvel source Ant-Man will be filmed at Pinewood Studios in Fayetteville, GA.

Pinewood Atlanta is a full service film and entertainment studio complex comprised of five sound stages on 288 acres in Fayetteville, Georgia USA, just south of Atlanta.

Ant-Man looks to be among the first films shot there as the Georgia location for Pinewood Studios is not nearly done being constructed itself. Supposed to be done early '14.

If she was in her very early 20s and Pym was in his mid thirties when he hit her, child abuse (in the 80s) is more understandable than spousal abuse.
