News Ant-Man and the Wasp

Looks good. I'm glad she actually has sleeves now. Practically speaking, omitting them didn't make a lick of sense.

Will the writers bring back the Yellowjacket particles into this sequel? It is a loose end.

I think that's a given considering they changed the ending to show Mitchel Carson taking the vial and fleeing successfully.

First look at the 2nd gen Ant-Man and Wasp together!

And a new synopsis...

“From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes Ant-Man and The Wasp, a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of Captain America: Civil War, Scott Lang grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a super hero and a father. As he struggles to rebalance his life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne and Dr. Hank Pym with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside the Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from the past.”

Also, those aren't boobs on Hope's costume. They're bug-eyes.

^ Hm, an Infinity War prequel? Two whole months - that's gotta be the fastest prequel movie release in history. :p

Huh, I could've sworn that was in this thread. I guess that's what happens when you open threads in multiple tabs at once. That and the board's current software not showing the thread title on top of each post like previous iterations.

Like I said in the other thread, the trailer seems to indicate that the sequel will be just as much as fun as the original. I loved seeing Hope call out Scott about not asking for her help...and saying he wouldn't have gotten caught if she was there. Plus, Hank withholding tech from Scott so he could give it exclusively to his daughter was also a nice touch.

Yeah, I tried to post it in here, but for some reason the search function wouldn't cooperate and I couldn't find this thread, so I wound up posting it in the MCU thread instead.

Hm, wonder if this'll be the Salesforce Tower's (below center) live-action big-screen debut? (Apparently it was in Big Hero 6.)

Despite only doing a day or two of on-location shooting, the first one did a pretty solid job of representing San Francisco and Treasure Island. I haven't heard of any SF shooting this time, but here's hoping any local representation will be similarly strong anyhow...
