Another take at uniform design!

You may remember some time back I created a thread involving a uniform design which I created. For those of you whose memory's a bit hazy, here's a reminder:

I had this other design which was swimming around in my head for quite a while, so I decided to transmit it to paper and share it with the rest of you. Here is a teaser:

Once again they're hand drawn, as I'm much more dexterous at drawing things by hand than with a computer, plus lack the necessary software to create them.

The era these would be around would be during the ST:O era. I decided to add rank stripes to the cuffs to give them a more epic, Horatio Hornbloweresque look, which was partially inspired by the uniform designs from Star Trek: Generations which were dropped at the last minute.

Right now the bright colors with the black sections give it kind of an athletic-wear look. Maybe try toning the colors down to more neutral tones. Good shapes, just needs some refinement.

^ Concur with Venardhi on the color issue. That being said, I prefer the black shoulders look in the 2nd design versus the first. Colored shoulders (or worse, that wimpy single-stripe idea that ENT had going on) just don't give enough testosterone (for want of a word) to the design.
