Another Size inconsistancy (Spoilers)

On my second view, I noticed that the Transamerica Pyramid was shown as being safe. After Khan jumps down from the wreckage, we see a glimpse of it. It is hidden amongst other buildings though.

I felt like the Vengeance didn't seem as big compared to Earth buildings as the Enterprise did look relative to that cliff face earlier in the film.

The killing of the Starfleeters was up close and personal--and that attack craft was cooler than the Scorpian fighters from Nemesis. We saw that scene before with the Kazon/Trabe on Voyager.

Mass killings, I believe that's called a statistic by some worthy

It's so funny that for the writers a small attack with a couple of dead Starfleet officers sparks the dramatic arc of the film, and they resolve it with the mass killing of probably 100,000 innocent people, which nobody in the film cares about AT ALL.

No. The film focuses on capturing Khan and then jumps one year ahead.
The crew of the Enterprise has probably enough to do in those few minutes after the crash, and before the film time-jumps, to keep the ship in the air, care for their own wounded and dead.
