Another box office thread...all time ST box office!

Looking at that table....how did INS have a budget of $70 million??? Seriously? It sure as hell didn't show. NEM had a budget of $60 million and it showed it off better I thought. Knock it for plot all you want, but Nemesis had way better FX than Insurrection, in my opinion. I dunno what they were paying for in Insurrection.

^^^ A lot in Insurrection was filmed on location in a very remote spot. That's more expensive sometimes than working in a studio.

:)I'm glad to see that STAR TREK IS STILL NUMBER 7 in box office sales for last weekend (June 15, 2009)

4. Night at the Museum $ 9.6 million

5. Land of the Lost $ 9.2 million

6. Imagine That $ 5.7 million

7. STAR TREK :techman: $ 5.6 MILLION:techman::)

8. Terminator Salvation $ 4.7 million

9. Angels & Demons $ 4.2 million

10.Drag Me To Hell $ 3.9 million

I glad to see that STAR TREK is still in the TOP 10 movies since May 8, 2009, that is more than a month in top 10 movies. Way to Go, thanks to cast and crew and of course to J.J. Abrams.:techman::) Thanks, for giving Star Trek the rebirth it needed and has needed for many years now.:cool::)

Its doing similar business to last week this week..amazing! It might well do another $5 million domestic over the weekend....

Its now the number 57 all time domestic earner.

Number 55 now. It has $239,944,000 million, either way it will surpass both estimates for STTMPs domestic totals.
