After having some posters who elected to spam heavily in response to a post that they knew would be shut (hit-and-run salesperson), I've decided that I'm getting really tired of this kind of thing. 100+ posts by one poster across less than 10 threads is ridiculous.
For future reference, if you KNOW a thread is going to be shut and the mod hasn't arrived yet, DON'T spam. Go elsewhere.
Take the lesson from two who spammed it up today. I have docked each of them 500 posts. Now that I have done it, I won't be averse to doing it again to those who go nuts with posting.
It's a discussion board, not a "how many posts can we post in 10 minutes" or a chat board. MSN and such work wonderfully.
