Anne Francis has passed away

In addition to those classics, Forbidden Planet and that mannequin Twilight Zone episode, I remember her most from Funny Girl, which also had Walter Pidgeon.

She will be missed. :(

Honey West was one of the first shows I remember seeing and liking (other than cartoons) as a kid. For some reason the show struck a cord with me and my sister. Though I haven't seen an episode in decades. Forbidden Planet is one of my favorite films. Thank you, Anne Francis. RIP.

I'm also a fan of Honey West, a series I'd heard about but never saw till the DVDs came out (I've only seen the first 6 episodes or so - I need to watch the rest one of these days). She was great in that, and I remember her fondly from Forbidden Planet. She also has my respect for co-starring in Blackboard Jungle, the film that is credited with sparking the rock and roll era by popularizing Rock Around the Clock.

Definitely sad news. RIP.

She was so natural in FP, perfectly blending innocence and allure and deft at the comic moments. She was a TV guest star a lot when I was a kid and I remember recognizing her name in the credits way way back. She was always good. RIP.

And hang in there, Warren Stevens!
