Seriously though, I'm glad that people that liked SJA get some more stuff. I only watched clips from the show that had The Doctor, but people obviously still have a fondness for it. As opposed to Class, which no one talks about and I even got that whole series on DVD literally for $1 new at a dollar store (and still haven't watched it).

I'm really glad they're giving Rani more adventures, though it's too bad that Clyde isn't an equal partner in the series, since they were such a great team. Still, at least he's back too.

Only 11 years since it ended, but you know what they say, time flies when.....time is flying (ie: it's timey wimey).

Hell, yeah! That's long overdue! I'll all for more Rani and Clyde. I'm still bummed out they never got a chance to be regular companions of The Doctor.

I'm really glad they're giving Rani more adventures, though it's too bad that Clyde isn't an equal partner in the series, since they were such a great team. Still, at least he's back too.

Liz Shaw and The Master were married for decades, and we got nothing.

Well, he did two episodes of P.R.O.B.E. with Caroline, but Geoff didn't play the Master, or he played the Master who stayed in disguise and did not break character, while Liz Shaw saved the day in the Wilderness.

Big Finish has already done 2 seasons of Class quite some time ago.

The Draw of Class is the assassin bodyguard for the alien Prince slumming it as a human high school teacher who is not happy about it, and keeps sarcastically talking about randomly killing the annoying students. Imagine if Avon from Blake's Seven was a hot toffy nosed 35 year old woman.

Oh. I saw first and last, but assumed it was out of more than three. So better than I thought. Still, why not all three? Also, "reunited with her best friend Clyde" suggests that my "shipping" hopes for the two of them were not fulfilled.

The set is called Beyond Bannerman Road, but I wonder if Bannerman Road, Mr. Smith, and K9 will play any role. I always hoped Clyde & Rani would take over the Bannerman Road operation once Sarah Jane was gone. It sounds like they didn't.

I actually like how the Farewell, Sarah Jane story left things with Bannerman road and K9. I would actually really like it if that was still the story of Sarah Jane's funeral. And I don't ever want to know how she died. I know that her death will have to be brought up at some point during this series, but I hope they just bring up the simple fact that she's gone and don't get into the details.

BF have done four volumes of Class audios already, actually.

I liked the two volumes I've heard, including the timey-wimey Coal Hill crossover with Ace circa "Remembrance of the Daleks." Katherine Kelly (the best thing about Class, and I say that as someone who would have been happy to get a second season on TV) was replaced by Dervla Kirwan for last two volumes, but I'll get around to them eventually.

As for a Rani series, this interests me more than the Lady Christina or Jenny the Doctor's Daughter or Rory the Lone Centurion series. Given how busy Anjli Mohindra is on UK TV these days, though, I wonder how many volumes of Rani we're likely to get.
