Animate the next Kelvinverse movie?

Who thinks the next Kelvinverse movie should be a cartoon?
It's a fun idea. Except for Pegg and maybe Cho, I don't think most of the main cast has extensive voice-acting experience, but they've all done some, so it's not an impossible thing to conceive.

Whether it should be the next movie is something about which I'm far less sure. The chances of it ever happening in any form, though--even as an animated short--are pretty slim.

Or if not a movie, you could have an animated TV series set in the Kelvinverse that follows another ship, with occasional Enterprise crew guest appearances.

Their reality being separated from the prime reality (mostly) leaves open lots of room for stories that would directly contradict current 23rd century shows being made now.

I would be game for a movie or series on Paramount+.

I liked Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway.

So I would be in favor of an anime-style Kelvin universe animated movie or series done like that.

Not anime. Do it in something like the way Sony does the Spider-Verse films and I'm all for it.
I've always thought Trek would look good in a sorta Titan A.E./Don Bluth style of animation. Of course it will never happen as that style of animation is pretty much dead, atleast on the big screen.

But I can still dream.

No American-style Japanese animation please. The Japanese are very good at that. American studios are not.

To be honest, I'm not really up for it, but that's not to say an animated Kelvin movie wouldn't work. I do think it would feel like a step down however.

Time to revisit Peter Markowski's animated series pitch for inspiration?
