Animals in my house!

Blanket worked. It seemed a lot less threatened by me when it couldn't actually see me.

I drove it around for a while and eventually released it in an empty parking lot near some woods. It quickly ran away.

A- That wasn't even a medium sized raccoon, though the large ones I've seen were livin' large off dumpster leftovers.
B- You'll see him again in a few days, and he'll bring some of his new friends back with him.

Well, it was larger than I was expecting.

And he's about 2 miles away. I'd be very impressed if he found his way back.

Hey,

What sort of area do you live in? I have a kitty too and we live in the Woodlands of Northeast USA. It's common to have mice, raccoons, squirrels, chipmunks, frogs, deer etc. trying to get into the house. Any chance you live in a similar area? Sorry I don't know your geography. :)

So...it was a raccoon. A fucking giant raccoon.

Ohhh .. so cute.

I think it's awesome that you captured it alive .

And I bet the racoon has its own horror story to tell if it meets a fellow racoon.
Racoon: "It was a cold and dark night. Food was - as usual - rare, when I discovered this cool place with free water and cat food. But be warned, one of these humans lives there. He is tall like a tree and has teeth like ... nothing I've ever seen before. It was horrible. He captured me and locked me away for no reason. I saw myself already as his new cap, but then he let me go. I think the only reason I'm still alive is because of my heroic growling".

Yeah, this thread is entertaining.

;)

Congratulations! Or is it "Tally-ho"?? :D
What a handome fellow! We have some in Bavaria but not yet in my area. I know them only from the zoo.
Rodents don't scratch on doors.
But they will chew through them.:)
LOL indeed. I used to have a group of pet rats. When it came to jailbreaks they much reminded me of the Beagle Boys :D - only much smarter and more difficult to catch. You wouldn't believe how perfectly a black and white rat can melt into the shadows of a book cabinet.
