Angel time-travel scenario

After leaving Angel to fight the Senior Partners on his own in the series finale, some mysterious force suddenly sends Connor back in time. Now he finds himself around the time that Angel and his gang split up after Angel decided to declare war against Wolfram & Hart after what happened with Darla.

What do you think Connor should do in his predicament? Should he use this as an opportunity to change the past? If so, how and what would be the consequences of it?

depends on what his intent to change the past I suppose because at this point, Connors memory has been wiped right and only knows what Angel told him and whatever events he witnessed while fighting Hamilton

I guess i need a refresher on what happened around that time, was that mid season 2, to season 3 when Darla was revamped? Or after she committed suicide to give birth to Connor, exactly what would he be able to do, anyways?

I say maybe if he killed Holts before he kidnapped baby Connor, the repercussions would be more extreme

The time Connor was to takes place after the events of Reunion, Episode 10 of Season 2. Before Darla gave birth to Connor. Before Angel and Darla slept together which led to Connor's conception.

And I think Connor's intent would be to prevent all, if not some, of the horrible stuff that happened in his life that pushed him to the point in which he had to be mind-wiped to live a healthy life.

So wait, is his intent to negate his own existance? In that case he would need to go earlier than that to prevent Angel from winning the new life for Darla which was turned into Connor.

I think Connor would let his conception happen but the stuff afterwards (Holtz, the thing that took over Cordelia and manipulated him, etc.) he would try to stop.

Maybe he would go undercover as a new member of Angel Investigations so he could be closer to the source of these events and his father.

And in so attempting, he'd cause them to happen, I'm sure.
