Yeah'll we'll do what we want. The question is: why would we want it? Why would we want to take an Asian story about Asian people and cast white actors in all the lead rolls? I don't want that, even though I'm an American.

I couldn't care less actually. Perhaps Shyamaladingdong couldn't find an Asian kid that looked the part? I mean in all seriousness after the pics being revealed today, the "white" kid just looks the part. Plus the kid is according to other sources a martial arts expert. So why not allow a "white" kid to get the role? Isn't fairness supposed to be for all and not just non-whites?

I don't think that expert is necessarily the right word for a 12 year old with a black belt. That sets off McDojo warning bells.

But it probably means that he knows flashy moves that'll look good on camera, which is always useful.
