And the Next Cancelled Show is...

The general idea of Marvel/DC crossovers on the screen is just so awesome that no reality could compete with it.

Farmhouse Fixer canceled after three seasons.
my wife liked that show so she'll be a bit disappointed.

though unless you pony up extra money on an amazon prime subscription or have rogers cable, much of the HGTV content from the U.S has been cancelled in Canada after Corus lost the rights and rogers aren't making it available to other cable companies.

Somewhat disappointing as I found that show to be something of a guilty pleasure, but really the writing's been on the wall for a while now. Here we are about a month and a half after the finale ended and there's been no renewal announcement and another show is taking over its timeslot in the fall. Hell, according to that article, this still isn't an official cancellation. Seems kind of odd to keep a show in limbo like that, especially when the cast are no longer obligated to it and the producer has more than enough on his plate at the moment anyway.

Oh well, I'll miss it, but I can and will move on.

Sea Quest DSV Season 3.

Fire half the cast and keep the boat.

ABC still hasn't canceled Doctor Odyssey but they let all the actors' contracts expire, so I'm not sure what they're trying to hide or prove.

Farmhouse Fixer isn't the only show that HG TV has axed. They also cancelled Married to Real Estate, Izzy Does it and Bargain Block, which, like Farmhouse Fixer, are either minority or LGBTQA+ hosted.

This has caused a bit of an internet stir, as you can imagine. My wife and I enjoyed most of these shows, but never really got into Izzy Does it.

It was cable more than streaming that did that. Especially HBO. Soon everyone wanted to be HBO. Which was a good thing because it gave us the golden age of tv. When Netflix did "House of Cards" it was just them wanting to be part of that golden age of tv as well. What streaming did though was just give us more of that and frankly so many good shows were made up until maybe 2016, that if new tv shows were stopped being made people would have a lifetime or watching high quality stuff that has already been made. Their is so much good tv out their due the golden age of tv it is impossible to watch it all.
