And the Next Cancelled Show is...

Perhaps you'd better high-tail it. Allow me to provide a non-political distraction.

TAKE THE JERRY SPRINGER SHOW OUT OF SYNDICATION!!!!! It should have been cancelled before it ever aired!!!

Well, you won't have to worry about new episodes, he died this week.

Jerry Springer was kind of fun in a low brow kind of way back in the day. Still love this scene.

This is kind of out of left field but I would like to see a 3rd Rock from the Sun reboot maybe. Chance to catch up on the old characters and maybe focus on a new family of aliens learning about Earth customs.

Imagine they get here in 2019, right at the beginning of Lock Down?

9-1-1 cancelled by FOX after six seasons. Immediately picked up by ABC for its seventh season.

Never seen an episode, even though it's that guy I like and that girl I used to date.

Why do fun actors get caught up in this law and order clone bullshit for decades a piece. I mean, a paying gig is a paying gig, but what about me?

Lets just rewatch Lost Room for the 5th time.

9-1-1 is a solid show. It's my mom's favorite show and we watch it together so I am glad it will get a season 6.

Damn that’s a good show. Glad it’s been picked up elsewhere. Is 911 Lone Star following in its footsteps?

It's procedural porn.

Old people, no offence to your mother, want more Law and Order, but this is close enough.

Peter Krause on "Sport's Night" was peak Krause, which means that I am showing my age too.

Could not agree more. He was good on Six Feet Under, but Sports Night was such a great show.

I do also really like 9-1-1, but I'm pleased that ABC picked it up.

Meanwhile, I just read that The Rookie has been renewed for next season as well! Since they like to do crossovers with Feds, I could see potential for them to crossover with 9-1-1, especially since John's fiance is a firefighter. Eagle eyed viewers will also have noticed that they use the same Station 118 fire engines for both shows already.

Yellowstone is officially done after season 5, assuming they can get Costner back to film the rest of season 5.

But there will be a spinoff, in no small part because Peacock currently has the streaming rights to Yellowstone, but not anything Yellowstone-adjacent.

Within 2 years I believe their will be 123 Yellowstone spin-offs. I wonder what Yellowstone: Alaska will be like.

CBS cancels SWAT after six seasons. Ratings are said to be good but they couldn't come to an agreement on budget. Time to shop it around, I suppose.

Call Me Kat cancelled a day after season finale

That sucks. I like this one (although it took a bit to get into it at first), albeit it took a dramatic turn this season with the focus on Max's relationship with his father, his alcoholism and the break-up. Plus I liked the chemistry between Mayim as Kat and Margie Mays as Zoey.
