And the Next Cancelled Show is...

I feel that way as well. Sometimes to me it feels like to many choices. It's like I want to see that but not in the mood and or whatnot. Made even worst because I got long lists at places like Hulu and Amazon Prime and HBO Max etc as well. In fact right now I am basically watching almost 20 shows from reruns not counting weekly new esp of shows I watch. My list is basically clone Wars.amazing Spiderman cartoon, Tru Blood, Agents of Shield, Lucifer, Twilight Zone(classic), Highlander,Enterprise,Stargate, old Doctor Who as in starting in the 60's, NYPD Blue, X-Files, Fraser, Ally McBeal,King of the Hill 3rd Rock from the Sun, Green Acres,Transformers Prime and classic and literally just finished West Wing and For all Mankind this past week.

That should be enough to see for a couple of years :)

Well my predictions will be I will be done with Transformers Prime and Agents of Shield this week. Plus I also got the next 5 shows lined up in my head. Last season of Fargo last season of Lost in Space and Man in the High Castle and current season of Handsmaid Tale and that alternative universe show with J. K Simmons and the next 5 after that unless I make alterations of course is Monk for the first time, second season of the Kevin Bacon Hodges show on Showtime set in Boston in the 90's, The Wire for first time, Pysch for the first time and Con Man for the first time which looks like a show made specifically for nerds.

Thank you.
Quite welcome. :)
Am I assuming correctly that this is related to how random shows will pop up when looking for something specific?
Probably, I don’t watch it enough to really have problems finding things. I usually know what I’m looking for and, if I can’t find it, I check out the myriad other streaming services on my XBox to see if they have it (an oft-irksome practice). I will say, though, that Netflix is one of the better user interfaces out there (IMO), at least on the console machines. Amazon Prime is pretty good too. As for their search engines and target marketing of “other titles you might like” algorithms, there is always room for improvement. :)

I have to say their mobile UI is slightly better than their set-top/TV UI, and I find myself using both to fill gaps in their flaws. There's no switching to different categories on my Roku, just an endless series of recommendations with different categories as I scroll down. But If I use the mobile app, then I can switch to specific categories, making it slightly easier, then add them to the list.

...the Netflix UI is horrible. I find it difficult to find anything on it unless I've already heard about it and can type it in for it to come up. Too much of anything on there depends on chance encounters, and it's far too easy for something to be buried
Agreed, but apart from Discovery and the Marvel shows I got it for like Daredevil, theres nothing on it that I want to watch anyway.

I do wish the family would let me cancel it.

Netflix needs to fire all the executives behind their "no show gets more than 3 seasons" strategy. It's amazing how much they benefitted from ten seasons of Friends and nine seasons of the Office and still came to the conclusion that churning out quickly-cancelled shows was the right long-term strategy.

Yeah, it leads to a graveyard of cancelled shows, that are possibly interesting but haven't been fully explored. It then makes one wonder if they should really spend the time with them. And I think it makes Netflix looks less attractive in the long term.

I don't care how many or how few seasons a series gets, as long as we're not left hanging when it ends.

Prodigal Son canceled at Fox. Popular first season, moves to a new time slot for the second season, ratings go down.

Son of a serial killer, FBI Profiler with issues, slums it with the NYPD solving complex murders each week, with the help of his committed in an asylum for the criminally insane daddy Michael "Good Omens, Masters of Sex" Sheen (with an American Accent).

This is where Seth McFarlane dumped his girlfriend after she became problematic on the Orville.

Oh, and Lou Diamond Phillps too.

Sage and Seth dated.

They broke up.

There was friction.

She left.

Fox found her a new home.

There's not a lot of verifiable information on this.

Michael did 5 years on Masters of Sex.

His accent is fine.

But the character is an extravagant exhibitionist, so what he says is very grand speechifying.

It's like he's auditioning for Doctor Who.

Then why mention it?

Because I thought I had a story, until I tried to verify it a few minutes ago and I couldn't.

Was she given the part on Prodigal son to shut up about Seth being a shitty boyfriend, or did she get it on her on merit?

We don''t know.

A woman had to leave her job to make a powerful man comfortable.

That's hovering close to "me too" territory.
