And the Next Cancelled Show is...

Cop shows are CBS' bread-and-butter.
Yes, and they are all retooling. Unsure what wasn’t clear there.

For Clarice specifically,
the series takes a major creative liberty with a real world database that is used in the real world to profile, and that’s likely what’s being reworked. In the series, they use the database to link together multiple criminals that are coordinating the season-long arc.

You said "canceling and/or retooling." Yet only one show was canceled, due to rating, and that was long before the George Floyd murder. So to say that CBS is canceling anything because of the protest is incorrect.

Just as in the Discovery forum, there is no need to pile on and start sniping at each other over sources.

I’m fairly open with moderators and decent members about the sources, and have various private message conversations. You could privately ask me instead of being a bitch.
This, however, is a clear rule violation. Infraction for flaming, comments to PM.

Everybody, let's move on.

ooh I love juicy rumours from unnamed sources...

Does that mean Blue Bloods is now going to be cancelled? Sorry haven't been watching for a while.

I know it’s sacrilege to some, but I could do without all the CSI and NCIS clones, so sure. :D

Can I join you on that train?

I like procedural shows but even I think some of these shows have gone on for a bit too long sometimes. I'd be glad actually if Blue Bloods does end, I was sick of the Reagan's hollier then thou family after a while.

Stopped watching after season 8

Yeah, at least half of those are also cartoons, which imho is probably easier to producer en-masse vs a live-action series requiring all cast members to be present, and most of them are self-contained episodes. Take those out of the equation and they don't have much at all.

In some cases, netflix will actually order three or four seasons of a cartoon, but they only announce a season at a time.
