And the Next Cancelled Show is...

Santa Clarita Diet! No! Netflix sucks.

The amount of Netflix shows I don't bother watching when they first start or stop during because they keep cancelling everything lately. Netflix was meant to be different but they are just like any other network now. At the rate they pump out content, they have got to realise people can't keep up.

If you can keep up, then you'll cancel your subscription for three to 6 months each year, to let it get ahead of you a little.

Netflix has turned into the movie rental store. They have to keep putting as much quantity out there as possible to show that they have more to offer than the competition, quality be damned. And with all that quantity, their own original content gets lost in the shuffle.

"Blacklist" has run its course more so than "Blindspot". The only thing the former has going for it is Spader.

That can be said for every single episode since the pilot. I can't wrap my head around why people watch that garbage. Is he the dad or not for 5-6 seasons?!?! The fans of it most also have watched every single NCIS episode ever made.

I stopped watching Blacklist after the 4th season finale. I thought it was going to be canned after 5 but it keeps going so once it's actually done and assuming it gets an ending then I will go back.

They've likely and hopefully learned a lot from House of Cards. That is one show that overstayed its welcome. First 3 seasons had a clear plot, something which I felt should have been wrapping up by season 3's end, but the show was a victim of its own success, so they kept on extending it which is why a lot of the seasons after that feel like a lot of filler. Seasons 4 and on, it was as if they had forgotten about the central plot, with only very light progression with successive seasons. By the time we come to the 6th and final unnecessary season, they don't even have the gall to wrap it up properly. That whole central plot they were building up towards in the first 3 seasons? Oh, apparently it was nothing.

I couldn't stand the third season, but I agree. The show is called HOUSE OF CARDS, it should have had four seasons, 52 episodes, the same as a deck of cards.

The 5th season I enjoyed watching, but it was completely useless story wise.

The original British house of cards only had three seasons.

If they were ever planning a sequel or a prequel, Spacey screwed that pooch.

Well not only that, but well... the house of cards didn't even topple. Were those cards glued down? That was one of the most important aspects of the show and they completely sidelined it. It wasn't even true to its namesake. The British version was far superior in that respect.

No, he didn't. The show was a mess before people realized what everyone should have known. The 6th season without him could have worked, it could have worked beautifully. But instead the 'writers' fucked around, fucked the audience, fucked the show, just fucked and not in a good way.

Yeah, the show being called HOUSE OF CARDS and the fucking house of cards doesn't fall... don't get me started.

I was whimsically talking about the British show from 20 years ago, and how on the strength of the U.S. show; a comeback in the UK may have been called for.

Exactly. They could have made it work beautifully by having everything Frank did collapse on Claire, but no, they didn't seem to have the slightest interest in addressing the elephant in the room. The 6th season felt like the writers were having a laugh at the expense of the viewers. "Well, you stuck with it for this long, HAHA!" It was just disgusting. The show once held great potential, especially in its first two seasons, but then they seemed to have no follow-through.

‘Bull’: Steven Spielberg & Amblin TV Pull Out Of CBS Drama Over Michael Weatherly Harassment Controversy

given performers have been shitcanned and shows cancelled for less, I'm surprised bull is still in production.

never did like weatherly on NCIS - more of di-nozzle than di-nozzo

Boo. The Passage was decent, and season 2 would have been very interesting given the massive change at end of Season 1

Just read the books. ;)

Fox also canceled The Cool Kids. ABC canceled For the People, Speechless, The Kids are All Right, Splitting Up Together. ABC picked weird comedies to renew.
