And the Next Cancelled Show is...

Or in case you don't want to read all that, the ABC shows NOT renewed (yet)...

Fall series still awaiting word on their fate:Castle, Nashville, Last Man Standing, Dr. Ken and The Muppets. Also TBD: Winter “fill-ins” American Crime (Most likely dead), Galavant (Most likely dead) and Agent Carter.

The episodes are 10 minutes long.

And the advertising at the beginning was that this show started at season 7 or 8, and we'd just foolishly not seen the previous years.

We're talking about new shows here as well, right? I really liked The Real O'Neals. Very funny. Nice to see the little girl from The New Normal on a show again, she's really funny.

I liked it too. The weakest links were the dad and straight son. The mom, gay son and the girl, more so the girl, were great.

I liked the idea that the dumb jock wrestler was anorexic and totally cool with his brother being gay. If anything the character I don't like is the mother because she's telling his son he's going to Hell for choosing to be gay...

But it's not her fault that that's the official policy of the Church, or that her parents bonded her by her soul with super glue to a made up fairy story, when she was too young to know she was being brainwashed.

It's a scary day when I fully agree with you, but that's exactly right.

Plus that's the point of the show. Who cares if the son is gay if no one cares if the son is gay on the show?

She also grounded the daughter until she believes in god, which is funny.

For those interested, the pilot for The Real O'Neals is available for free download on the iTunes Store.

I watched the pilot episode of The Family and I think I liked it. It's always hard to tell from a pilot. It was enough to bring me back for another episode at least. I always love a good mystery.

Person of Interest season 5 still hasn't aired yet but everyone is waiting for CBS to bring down the hammer on it because it doesn't fit with their image anymore and they're replacing it with Detective Lawyer, MD; Detective Lawyer, MD: Miami and Detective Lawyer, MD: Las Vegas.

Isn't that The CW's whole list of shows?
Yeah, pretty much! My reaction to the news: "HOORAY, Supernatural got renewed!!" followed by, "They renewed Supernatural??" Maybe they can use the last season to wrap it all up, once and for all.

UGH, don't remind me. All this procedural crap is nothing but television "Mad Libs." In fact, I'm pretty sure that's how they come up with new shows.
