And the Next Cancelled Show is...

The lawsuit/allegations are unfortunate. There are a lot of other people besides Reichs, Boreanaz, and Deschanel who work on the show who would suffer if the show is axed because of this. :(

They're only asking for their existing contracts to be honoured?

Even though that's maybe hundreds of millions of million dollars, if that wasn't unreasonable, then fox shouldn't have agreed to the contracts as written years ago when they did.

A surly enough busboy will set you car on fire if you try to stiff them on their tip, and this shouldn't be any different.

Exactly. Fox is trying to hide syndication money from the main people, and the writer of the books that the show uses the characters names of. Fox will settle for some lower number. If I was one of the leads I'd refuse and demand an insane amount. It's not like they need to do the show anymore.

But Fox will settle because Fox has Empire and nothing else. Everything else on the network besides Empire and Bones gets 2-3 million views, and Bones only gets a few million more but they can stick it anywhere and people will watch.

The first season was a great study of two horrible people who were not right for each other. This season has taken a turn towards a focus on more realistic problems. I'm very interested in seeing where they go in the third season with
Gretchen's depression and Linsday's pregnancy.

What was up with that girls feet?

She said skiing was rough on her feet, but they looked like they were in necrosis. Maybe she suffered frostbite, googled a "treatment for frostbite," and the Russian cure looked like the most promising result.

‘Gigi Does It’ Canceled By IFC After One Season

There will not be a second season of David Krumholtz’s comedy series Gigi Does It on IFC. The actor made the announcement on Twitter.

Gigi Does It, starring Krumholtz as an old woman living in Florida who faces the modern world, finished its eight-episode Season 1 run on Nov. 16. It was a low-rated performer, especially in its original Thursday time slot where it aired for the first three weeks. It launched with 55,000 viewers in Live+3 and 22,000 in adults 18-49. The second episode logged a zero 18-49 rating and 20,000 viewers in Live+same day. The comedy fared a little better in its new Monday slot, with the season and now series finale logging 102,000 viewers and 42,000 adults 18-49 in L3.

There is no decision yet on Gigi‘s companion, fellow new IFC comedy Benders, which remained on Thursday. It started a little higher, with 155,000 viewers and 75,000 adults 18-49 in L+3 for the premiere. The hockey comedy ended its eight-episode run with 88,000 viewers and 28,000 adults 18-49 in L+3 for the finale. While Both Gigi and Benders were at the bottom of the scripted cable series rankings during their runs, Benders ended with a little higher average, had stronger L7 lift, around +90%, and higher digital activity.

Also up in the air is the future of IFC’s Comedy Bang! Bang! which also logged three airings with zero 18-49 Live+same day rating during the fourth season now airing. The series has been valued by the network for bringing top comedic talent to the network and for its advertiser friendliness through the use of product integrations.

Gigi, I gave up on after 4 minutes. It's ageist? That and I don't like reality tv, especially this candid camera shite.

Benders is (low rent) hilarious. 5 thugs, ordinary guys from the 80s, except it's now, talking about sex and relationships, in the the context of how it all won't get in the way of their shitty minor league hockey team.

Agreed - although I sincerely hope they get get Ressler unfucked from his PTSD or whatever it is to make him act so unbelievably reckless, unprofessional and generally epic stupid. Either that or he can ask for a transfer to DHS/TSA where he can fit right in! :)

Ugh. I love James Spader, but I'm not sure I can handle another year of The Blacklist. Maybe if they got rid of most of the FBI characters completely, maybe it would improve.
