And the Next Cancelled Show is...

What's the worse thing about them canceling Forever, is that they renewed Galavant.

It wasn't really a one-or-the-other situation. An hour-long procedural versus a half-hour musical comedy that could pair well with The Muppets. I think Forever's competition was Castle - if it had plummeted in the ratings, or if they couldn't sign Nathan Fillion for another season, then Forever might have been renewed.

Double crap!!! I wasn't digging it at first, but hubby read the comic so we watched the whole season. It was really starting to get good in the last half; I want to see what happens! Damn it. :klingon:

Too bad about Constantine. I wasn't crazy about the Pilot but I told myself I would give it a chance and by the end I thought it was pretty good. I'm bummed we didn't get to see The Spectre.

Hey wait, Backstrom was awesome. Go buy a season pass or come over to mine for a half marathon. That's just fuck### bananas.

Backstrom was very awesome. God damn it @#!?##% Fox. Mrs bbailey861 will be equally pissed about The Following as well.

I loved Galavant and I'm pleasantly astounded it got renewed! :D

It wasn't high art but I was really enjoying One Big Happy. And to a lesser extent, Marry Me.

At least Forever ended on an acceptable end of series episode. They probably realized they probably weren't going to get renewed so wrapped up things the best they could.

Cristella was pretty good too. No idea what happened there.

I think they were just starting to get their legs, flush out the characters.

I keep thinking about STNG Encounter at Farpoint and how (IMHO) poor it was. It didn't really start gelling until the 2nd or 3rd season.

Super bummed about Constantine and Forever. At least Forever had resolutions to the Abigail and Adam stories. I appreciate that there is some closure.

I hate it when people blame that show's success on Riker's beard.

The beard helped, but even more important for me was the uniform changes from season 1- 3.

I really hated the season one version with its lack of a collar. I began to warm up to the introduction of a collared version but didn't love it until they ditched the 1 piece for the separate shirt, jacket, pants version.

Lucky for us, they didn't cancel it before they made these IMPORTANT changes. ;)

I'm surprised "The Mysteries of Laura" wasn't canceled. Is anyone watching it?

Wonder why it's taking so long for CBS to make a final announcement of incumbent shows coming back.

If I had to guess, most likely it involves CBS negotiating with Warner over "Person of Interest". All the other CBS shows not officially renewed/canceled yet, all appear to be CBS owned productions (ie. NCIS, Criminal Minds, Elementary, etc ...).

IIRC, last year's holdup on CBS' final announcement involved The Mentalist (also a Warner show).
