And the Next Cancelled Show is...

Rush Hour (CBS) has been cancelled. SURPRISE!

Looks like they're still holding off on a decision on Limitless. I doubt it sticks around.

Really? My wife and I just stared watching it On Demand and we both really like it.

Yeah there are rumors that CBS Studios is shopping it around because CBS will most likely pass. I find it strange because I didn't think the ratings were bad, and they renewed a lot other other crap.

Hubby and I both really liked it; it was different, despite it's procedural leanings. It was funny, despite the serious drama of the main plot. The quirky personality of the lead character colored everything and made the show have an actual *gasp* personality. I thought the ratings had been decent, but I guess they weren't decent enough.

I guess CBS wants to change it's motto to "Nothing different---ever! We promise!"

It must be expensive or something. Especially since they've renewed similarly rated shows. May just be hammering out a deal. I wouldn't be surprised to see it moved to summer, either.

Similarly rated shows that got renewed all had multiple seasons under their belts. All the freshmen shows with similar ratings have been cancelled.

That's just not true at all. Code Black and Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders had about the same amount of viewers and 18-49 demo and have already been renewed.

Damn. I hope the find a home for hit. I haven't finished watching the first season yet but I am thoroughly enjoying it.

Fair point. Though, one would think the Chairman and CEO of CBS Corporation would know not to make that type of announcement if it were not basically a done deal.
Seems pretty common now-a-days, actually. In recent memory, there was the announcement by HBO that Brink (fantastic show, IMO) was renewed for a second season, to be promptly chopped only a couple of months later for no apparent reason.

Strikes me that there are a lot of pretty unreliable network suits out there.
