Canceled before it even got started: The Game of Thrones prequel starring Naomi Watts has been reportedly scrapped.
If I were paying for Netflix (Christmas Gift) this would actually make me cancel it. What the fuck is Netflix thinknig? Do they even think? I watched one episode, felt like 30, and all I remember is from the trailers 'This is the most important mission in the history of mankind... so make sure to only wear your gym clothes.'
The first 3 episodes are easily the worst, but it does get better. By the end of the series, I actually found it compelling.
They need their own unique IP as studios begin to pull it for their own streaming service. Maybe enough of the right eye balls watched it and then watched something else and then something else. Or maybe the show was talked about enough on twitter they feel it's a show that will not only keep subscribers but add--which is the only way they will ever get out of their debt.
Unless Megan wants back in, or unless Harry wants in with Megan. Would the best title be British Suits, Limey Suits or English Suits?
Yes - But: https://ew.com/tv/2019/10/29/game-of-thrones-prequel-2/ (And no, while I liked the first couple of seasons of GoT, never really became a big fan, and the ending sucked.)
Cancelled...but maybe not https://www.eonline.com/ap/news/1091083/bh90210-canceled-not-so-fast-says-gabrielle-carteris
I found BH90210 to be hilarious. Although it was weird that they lived in a parallel universe where any one gave a shit about 90210, or remembered that it was a thing that happened. There was this one bit, where they are are talking about the past, and someone says "season 7" and Shanon Doherty kinda freaks out becuase that seems wrong, so she asks her phone "Siri how many seasons did Beverly Hills 90210 run for?"
Fresh Off the Boat is done after this season. Constance Wu is probably throwing a party upon that news.
It's good, but it's rinse and repeat. This seems like it's a show that should end when the calendar hits 2000, which is some thing that is about to happen. Maybe Y2K could get them?
Yep. A little disappointed by the reaction - all the show’s good will but all anyone will talk about is Constance Wu’s meltdown. But best to quit while ahead.
I loved when they went to the dive bar and Jamie Walters was there performing that one song he'd always do at the Peach Pit After Dark
