This is NOT a revival, but NBC is going to have a medical drama called New Amsterdam.
Not to be confused with the short-lived Fox series about an immortal cop who wants to find true love so he can die.
Not that the cop show invented the term New Amsterdam, although I suspect a lot of internet commenters will act like that's the case.

That's the only reason Fox wants it back. They didn't want it last year when the show was canceled. I hope it doesn't come back, or does and fails because Tim Allen has been a real asshole about it being canceled.
The funny thing is conservatives think people are watching Roseanne because they agree with her, she is a progressive who just happens to hate the system. People watch Roseanne because it's funny. If she dies the show could go on and just be called 'The Connors' because all the other characters are so great.
I think Roseanne is the weakest actress on the show.

Read the other day that the show's audience is down 43% from the premier. It that more a case of the return getting the sort of numbers that you couldn't really expect to maintain for a series?

Watched the first two episodes of the Quantico version 3.0 and it is just as rough and uneven as the first two seasons. Male lead loves female lead. Female lead runs off to Italy. Male lead marries female lead's best friend. Oh did I mention this is a spy show? Or now it's a black ops show.
The ratings for the season 10 premiere were just insane and never going to stay that high. It was higher ratings than the last ten episodes of season nine 20 years ago when people actually watched live TV in huge numbers.
Also it's spring as the weather warms people ditch the TV. Hell if the ratings fall 70-75% the show would still be the highest rated comedy on ABC.
