#1 Be Prepared - learn from all your 'oops I left it at home' mistakes and get a moleskine or handy dandy notepad for all your vital information
#2 Pad your travel time - learn from all your 'oops traffic was bad' mistakes and give yourself an extra 10-20 minutes of travel time.
I live 1.6 miles from where I work and still I leave my house 30 minutes before my shift.
#3 Get a phone - learn from all your 'oops I need a phone' mistakes and get a tracfone for 10 bucks
