I'd never heard of her until I went to Britain last summer.

When I arrived, the news was full of her, and I thought: Amy who?

It seems she followed me back across the Atlantic, like foot and mouth disease. Sorry everyone.

What really go me mad about her is that the cops picked her up use because of a movie someone took of her doing drugs, they then let her go without charges, and picked up the two people who supplied her with the drugs in that movie. They're now in jail. That's not right.

It used to be that famous singers cultivated the image of being a raging alcoholic, while in reality, actually being quite sensible in their drinking/drug use e.g. Dean Martin. Now, famous singers actually are raging addicts.
