Amusing IMDB rumor for the Christmas special

Kylie is stunt casting.

James Corden is not.

Richard Dawkins, Anne Widdecombe, McFly, et al are just pop culture cameos.

^So you're basically saying any well known actor or actress who's had a popular role previously is stunt casting?

No, I'm basically saying that the definition is subjective, but that I'd say the general guideline is that if you're paying more attention to who the actor is than the acting itself, it's stunt casting. Now, like I said, it's subjective -- there's never going to be a universally agreed-upon definition.

So, wait. It's stunt-casting if the viewer persceives it as stunt-casting? That's a bit ridiculous.

Yes. Because, as I've said two times already, the entire concept is subjective.
