I am loving this show... It's got some good scares and creepy characters... Episodes II and III have been more tame on the language and the nudity, which is fine by me. The story really got some good background in last night's show... Really looking forward to how this plays out.

Okay, this is probably my favorite new show. I'm really intrigued by the house's weird, complicated history and thought that the L.A. Murder tour was an ingenious way of (starting to) fill us in on the Murder House's backstory. Here's hoping somebody takes another ride on the bus at some point . . . just so we can get the rest of the story about the crazy mad doctor and his wife.

Maybe word of mouth is kicking in now? Ratings up a bit.
This is a particularly good sign:
Everyone is always scrambling to get the young male audience because they're the group that has bailed on TV altogether to the greatest degree.
I'll be back tomorrow - I haven't seen this week's ep yet, I just didn't want to lose track of the ratings.

I love the kitchen-sink approach this show has towards hanging onto our interest at all costs. Look, it's Sal Mineo's murder! Now we're in the Roaring 20s, now people are threatening lawsuits, now the guy with the crazy face is back and thwacks the pregnant mistress upside the head! Never a dull moment.
I felt sorry for Dylan McDermott, it was like he was transported to the Planet of the Insane Bitches.
Every female in this show is a nightmare except for the cool daughter, but now she's going to be responsible for keeping the family stupidly living in The House from Hell? Or maybe my prediction that Vivian must stay in the house or the fetus will die is coming horribly true (I meant that as a joke, honest!)

Ended up really liking this show. It's ridiculous but a lot more entertaining than The Walking Dead is for me. Sometimes it feels like someone else has the remote and is changing channels randomly but in a fun way.

So who was already buried in the grave? Was that Creepy Roaring 20s Baby? I'll bet what happened is that Creepy Baby died or was killed by an insane maid and Frankenstein Doctor kept one of the aborted Hollywood Starlet fetuses alive and nursed it to full term in a jar so that it could take Creepy Baby's place.

All I saw was a scrap of white cloth. Couldn't tell if it was the baby's cap or the maid's apron.

I didn't really get that part - why should a ghost care about something physical like concrete? If it was magical concrete with a voodoo spell, that I could see. Oh well, expecting logic from this show is a lost cause.

Just one example would be the CW show Supernatural. On that show, it's established that one must burn the bones of a dead person to send the ghost/spirit on to the afterlife. So it could be something like that. Someone's a lot less likely to get to the bones to do whatever needs to be done to them to set her free.

To be fair, that's an old ghost story cliche, the idea being that the ghost cannot be laid to rest until its bones are discovered and given a proper burial. (As opposed to being buried in the backyard by your murderer.)
The idea is not that the concrete is stopping Moira from leaving, it's that nobody is ever going to find her remains now that there's an entire concrete patio and gazebo on top of it!

Great episode last night... Missed the first 15 minutes, unfortunately, so it looks like I'll have to watch on-demand..
Loved the gay couple.. Zack Quinto was pretty scary at the end there! Can't wait to see the resolution, especially now that the girlfriend is back..
And quite the ending! So we now know why, or at least how the departed stick around in and around the house and that they can leave the premisis if they want.
