I had forgotten about Nathaniel Moon before I started my rewatch this week. I have to admit, I figured he died after Sunny and Bajie left him. I wonder if we'll get a rematch between him and Sunny?

The premiere is tonight after Fear The Walking Dead, I can't wait.

I really enjoyed this episode . They showed all the main character threads, gave everyone something interesting to do - and I really enjoy Emily Beecham as "The Widow".

Yeah, they did a good job of giving everyone some attention.
I was surprised they actually redid the whole credits, rather than just adding and removing people. I guess with almost everyone in a totally different position from Season 1, the old animations didn't really work anymore.
I liked how the after the big brutal fight scene, they just had Sunny go back to holding Henry.
The Widow/Nathan Moon fight scene at the beginning was awesome. They're definitely going all out with the wirework stunts now.
I was a bit surprised that they just brushed off that last scene with Bajie so quickly.

So are they taking a break until August , to match up with Fear? Seems like a sudden unannounced break and cliffhanger

Yep, that's what it looks like (which is disappointing because I really like the show and am sick of everything on AMC having a 'mid-season break' myself.) But it's my understanding the break was planned for by AMC this season.

The haven't announced when it'll return for the last 8 episodes of Season 3 (and I do hope it gets a 4th season myself - FTWD is the show they should axe); but yeah, it'll be back.

This was a great first half of the season.
Pilgrim is an interesting addition to the show, and lead to some interesting new reveals about the backstory of the show.
I liked Nathaniel Moon in his appearance last season, and we got some good stuff for him here. His relationship with Lydia was a surprise.
We got some good stuff with the war between The Widow and Chow, but at the same time I am glad they appear to be ending it here and not dragging it out forever.
I also liked getting to learn a bit more about Minerva's pre-The Widow history through the introduction of Gaius Chow.
Getting to meet Bajie ex-wife was pretty fun.
We got some pretty big developments in the finale.
Was the first we've heard that the creation of The Dark Ones is specifically what lead to fall of modern civilization?
The Master's arrival at the end was a big surprise, it'll definitely be interesting to see what happens with The Widow now that she's got her Dark One gift back.
I wonder if the last scene means that we'll be getting a conflict between The Master and her followers, and Pilgrim and his?
