Amazon UK low Blu-ray Prices

Hi everyone,

I don't post very often, but just thought I would let anyone in UK know Amazon have some good prices on Blu-rays at the moment.

I normally seem to miss the low prices but picked up Enterprise season 1,3 and 4 for just over £15 each. Season 2 is £30 for some odd reason, but I'm not going to moan about the other prices :)
:techman:

Low Prices & STAR TREK do not often go Hand-in-Hand together, as they should. No. And when you see that most of this stuff isn't even Made in the USA, but rather fabricated in China, it's often hard to justify. Low Prices should be typical, hell ... I'll still say it. I mean ... do these people want to sell their worthless STAR TREK goods, or not?! These occassional 15% offs and whatnot, in onesies/twosies, here and there just do not cut it ...

Buying any form of media invariably involves paying not for the physical product itself, but for the rights to view (or listen to) the programs encoded on the media itself.

Hence streaming.

I picked up TOS S1 and ENT S 1,3 and 4 - might as well for the low prices. Need to keep my eyes peeled to fill the gaps now.

$17.99 for an Incense Holder with the words STAR TREK adhered to it ... and not always in a professional-looking manner. Hmmm ... I guess my incense will just have to go on being STAR TREK-less for a while longer, until CBS decides to issue DEEP discounts and/or substantial $avings on ALL of their STAR TREK merchandise.

Just pre-ordered my region-free TOS BSG from AmUK. For some odd reason it's not available in the 'States. Some things I guess are only available in the UK. Never will understand international licensing agreements for these things. Either way, it's definitely a valuable resource. Might not always have the best prices, but it does seem to have things that the main site doesn't.

The USA will probably get a vastly superior release later!

International licensing agreements seem to be custom designed to ensure pirate bay stays in business.

I'm sure I read on The Digital Bits the other day that the original BSG is getting a Blu-ray release in the US. Yup, just checked. The US is getting a repackage of the German release in early 2015.
