Amazing Discovery! K/S IS CANON

After having watched Star Trek: Enterprise, maybe Kirk was just stressed out and Spock helping him out with some of that "neuro-pressure" [sic] therapy that T'pol was using on Trip to help him sleep better. It doesn't necessarily need to imply slash.

Kirk asked Spock once that he wished Spock could show him how to do the nerve pinch. ("Naked Time" and/or "Omega Glory"?). Maybe that opened the door for Spock to show Kirk other Vulcan techniques that might prove useful in some way. Kirk wrongly assumed that it was Spock giving him the back massage in "Shore Leave" and Spock just simply stepped forward to let him know otherwise. ;)

I don't know if you want to use that example as to why the action wasn't sexual.

Well, we could talk about sadonecroequinality ... but...

It took me a bit but I figured that one out :techman:

There are some things...that all of Kirk's....conquests...just...couldn't give...

Indeed. Look how much he loved the Enterprise. His relationships were always more expansive than pretty young girls. He's too big a character to be tied down to just one form of love and eroticism.

On a more serious note, I agree. Although I don't generally see any eroticism with K/S, it's clear the characters love and admire one another.
In other words, this clip wouldn't be funny if there were no homophobia/sexism to make it so.

oh look! Two men are touching each other! They must be gay!!!!

Really?
 Defensive much? It's a joke thread, relax.

I'm beginning to see the attraction in this.

TnT once you go Vulcan there's no turning back. But seriously, teacake, could we be putting too much into this scene, just forcing too much into it?

That? Oh, that, nothing more than a little fluff, or something. Just dig a little deeper, and poof, it's something else.

Are you suggesting it's overly developed? Maybe, it has gone too long. Size, girth, what is it worth without ridges?

I just realized that the video that started this wonderful thread has been deleted and that those who came to this thread for the first time since it was mysteriously necro'd are missing out. Luckily other videos of this scene exist.

Dear gods, the ideas that are running through my imagination!
I do remember this scene, from Shore Leave, I believe. I always found it... interesting. :D
