Am I the only one who like Godzilla vs Spacegodzilla

Hartzilla2007

I personally thought it was a good movie. I know a lot of people don't like but is there any besides me that does.

For me it was a massive let down after Godzilla VS Mechagodzilla but it does have the longest Godzilla battle that I can think of, it's just got a bad storyline and some terrible effects next to the other Heisei Godzilla movies. It also possibly gets into the alternate timeline that existed before Godzilla VS King Ghirdorah.

And I have to say I hate the Sony DVD releases of the Heisei series, Sony took off the end credits which is a real crime for Godzilla VS Destroyer. And I really do wish that the '84 and '89 movies were properly released on DVD.

I saw it a long time ago on cable TV. I thought it was pretty good; I enjoyed it. My favorite is still Godzilla: Final Wars.

This is the only Heisi film I don't care about. I'm glad they got back on track with Destoroyah.

It's not bad, but not great either. The idea of a man on a personal quest of vengeance against Godzilla was a cool idea, and for the most part it was executed well. The younger G-Force officers and their dull relationship with boring Miki Saegusa, on the other hand, just drag the movie down. The final battle is also far too long and, much like the other late Heisei series films, relies far too much on back and forth energy beams. Oh yeah, Little Godzilla sucks too.

In my opinion the Heisei series reached its peak with "King Ghidorah" and "Mothra". Neither are perfect movies, but they hold together well and at least seem lively and fresh. "MechaGodzilla" works on paper but as a film feels paced all wrong. The final battle goes on forever and every scene with a human in it feels like it's been edited out of existence (maybe some fans prefer that, to me it just turns it into a video game). "Destroyah" has exactly one good scene, Godzilla's demise and Junior's resurrection.
