Am I not awesome?

Congratulations Goji! I hope your academic achievements bring you more success than mine have to me.

Well done, Goji. It's a wonderful feeling to have worked at something and succeeded. You should definitely embrace the feeling of awesomeness :)

Fine, Goji is awesome. I will admit it.

Although you were already awesome just from having survived that one Roommate O'Doom your freshman year.

I find it really funny that you and I are graduating a day apart from the same university and yet we've never met IRL. You would have think that we would have at least run into each other randomly at some point.

And your hair makes you even more awesome! I had to cut mine to make sure the cap fit.

Congradulations buddy! I graduated from college in 2005..it was a fun but busy time for me. I miss all my friends there as well..they've gone on to greater things. After graduation though, you ask yourself "ok, what's next on my list?". I know I did! But congrats on that! It's a big accomplishment.

From one college graduate to another, well done on getting your degree!

Now go out there and kick further arse by getting a well-paid job! :bolian:

Congrats Goji. Enjoy your completion of college. I bow down before you and look on with envy as I have, alas, one year yet to complete.

So what can you do with a major in Japanese language exactly?

RAMA

You have got to be kidding, or you just didn't think about it very much before you asked.

Also, we know you're RAMA. It says so right above your picture.

Someone needs to get laid ...

:p

Not in my thread. :vulcan:

Thanks to everyone. I'm about ready to go to my graduation ceremony. I have been told by those involved that I am going to "roast" today, which I found charming. Add to that the fact that my relatives from New York are showing up for this event and you get one very, very unpleasant-sounding experience. But life goes on (theoretically).

I'm not sure what my plans are yet. For the short-term I'll be working in my hometown, but I plan to look for work in Tokyo, Japan as soon as possible. I'd like to do translation work because I have quite a lot of practice with that by now.

Regardless, my choice of degree has already paid off for me in many wonderful ways. I have a definable skill now that I didn't have before I entered college and it has changed my life. So yeah, I'm quite pleased with how everything turned out. :techman:

Thanks again to everyone. Except DarkHelmet, who will receive swift and brutal punishment for his heresy.

Way to go, Goji!

Well done.

Prepare to join the regular, grown-up work-a-day world where your spirit will be slowly ground to dust under the heal of capitalist competition.
