I am going to suggest on this day that, yes, I am quite awesome as a matter of fact. I submit into evidence that I have just completed the final undergraduate final exam that I will ever take, which makes me a certified college graduate with a degree in the Japanese language from UC Berkeley. Does that not amaze you? It amazes the hell out of me.
Many people insist on commenting that it feels like "just yesterday" that I graduated high school and became a college student. No it doesn't you screwballs, it's been a long-ass four years full of amazing and irritating and interesting and mind-numbing experiences. But I did it. It's DONE. Hallelujah.
No, I'm going to get absolutely nothing out of the hokey graduation ceremony I have to go to on Sunday, just a lot of standing around in dorky clothing while my teachers give me odd looks (not that they don't usually). So that's what this thread is for. I'm going to pretend for now like I'm the only person who has ever graduated from college and let you all tell me how incredibly awesome I am. Begin now.
I am sure many of you remember me from back when I was just a bratty little high school kid. That era and college too is done, over, kaput. I've spent nearly seven years of my life as a member here and much has changed. Things are going to be changing a lot these next few months. Frankly I look forward to it.
I'm off for now, but I'll be back to make sure you all are agreeing that I have kicked academic ass.
