The title of this thread should just be changed to "Yes...We're ALL Complete and Total Freaks" and be done with it.
Here's a new image I made just for this thread. Polygonal K'th compared with a traditional media illustration I drew in 1998. Some differences were concessions due to the limitations of the 3D format (like the shape of her "mane"), others were deliberate choices (like the auburn colored leg-warmers and the addition of a belt). Sincerely, Bill
Ah, well, when I was learning to draw the human(oid) form, I was somewhat influenced by the style of Wendy Pini, creator of the independent press comic, ElfQuest. Sincerely, Bill
Yeah, the waist is trim, but you'll look closely, you'll see that the lower rib cage region of her left side is almost hidden by a shadow cast by her jacket. I think that is creating the illusion her waist is more narrow than it really is. Or do you mean the illustrated original? Sincerely, Bill
Oh, I'm not actually worried; just makin' conversation. I've been on-line since 1996. I know that it can get REALLY weird. Relatively speaking, I'm positively pedestrian. Sincerely, Bill
I don't think this place is remotely weird. 90% of those who claim weirdness are just fanboys giggling about stuff on the internet.
