I have a few alternate timelines ideas/things I would like to discuss. From all Star Trek series:

1. What would happen if Kes stayed aboard Voyager longer? Maybe even Tom/.Kes pairing would happen (but if not, no other pairing for Kes), but Janeway and Torress would not die.

2. What would happen if Kes gets taken over by a Prophet and works with them?

3. Is it possible for Jadzia Dax/Julian Bashir relationship to occur (hopefully before the timetable of Season 4) if Bashir did not “go so strong” from the start and did not behave in such way many people does not like (some may say he would not be Bashir, but I think it is possible)? Especially if he and Jadzia met earlier than in canon (like in Starfleet Academy)?

4. How did Jadzia Dax and Julian Bashir got together in the Mirror Universe?

5. If the Dominion War went much worse and the Federation was on the brink of collapse when Voyager made contact in “Message in the Bottle”, what would Janeway do?

6. How would you think things would go between Harry and Seven if that scene in the mess hall did not happen?

7. What happened with Starfleet members of the Deep Space 9 crew in the timeline where Bajorans were Federation’s enemies (one of the timelines from TNG: Parallels)?

1. I think that Tom/B'Elanna was self sustaining by the time Kes left, so I only see Tom/Kes as a thing if she perishes. It's a good pairing, though. I'll explain why in a coming topic where I evaluate the potential pairings on Voyager.

2. Whatever the Prophets want. It's still my head canon that after their initial attempt to reform the Ferengi failed ("Prophet Motive"), they didn't fix Zek all the way, instead opting for more subtle changes. Hence Ferengi society going all woke.

3. Very possible. In Ezri's words, if Worf hadn't come along, she would have gone with Julian.

4. Not a lot of good alternatives. They had Mirror Tuvok, who might have been married over there too. They had Rom. They had Smiley, who was too frickin' dumb to bring the man who he probably needed more than Sisko over to fix up his Defiant. And there was that guy whose face looked like it had hosted a hippopotamus dance party.

5. No clue.

6. Harry would probably still have ultimately decided that Seven lacked the emotional maturity for a relationship, though nonetheless remained hot for her. Probably not a lot of change.

7. They'd have received different assignments, since no Federation application would have been sent. DS9 would have operated with an all Bajoran crew, and remained at Bajor.
