Oh Wow! How about doing the cadet uniform?

The TWOK uniform jacket always looked uncomfortable. The TWOK vest looked better.

Ironically Generations' vest is based on an idea from the Phase II tv series.

Last year I added black side panels to the TOS uniform jacket. Worked great. Then black shoulders. Worked great. Then the department colour stripes down the outer pant legs. Further than this, was yuck.

Years ago pre internet I did up a fan manual with the blue being Starfleet Shuttle fighter command sort of based on SFB. Looks great

I really like the idea of these uniforms. They would have worked nicely as the dress uniforms on TOS or standard dress for Season 4 on.

Source? All material written about the movie, including several art books, never state that Robert Blackman based Kirk's uniform vest on the PHASE II (aborted series, not the fan films) costumes.

Moreover, none of the PHASE II variations, based on the TOS uniform, are close in design to the Kirk's vest from that movie.
